Refund policy
Short, because it should be.
1. The first 30 days are free
You use the whole system before you pay anything.
2. What the free trial means for refunds
There is nothing to refund on a trial, because nothing was paid. The trial gives you the whole system for 30 days with empty books; when it ends without a subscription, the account simply follows the same timeline as a lapsed subscription (see below) — read-only first, then stored, then deleted. Nothing is charged at the end of a trial, and no card or bank details are taken to start one.
3. Annual plans — 30 days
If you pay for a year and change your mind, email us within 30 days of the payment and we refund it in full. No questions and no conditions.
4. Monthly plans — 7 days
If you cancel within 7 days of a monthly charge, that charge is refunded in full. After 7 days, the month you paid for runs to its end and is not refunded — and you are not charged again.
5. A worked example
You pay for a month on the 3rd and email us on the 8th: the charge is refunded in full and the account moves to read-only. You email us on the 15th instead: the month runs to its end, you are not charged again, and the account moves to read-only the day after. You pay for a year on 1 March and write on 20 March: refunded in full. On 20 April: the year runs, and you can still stop it from renewing at any time.
6. Cancelling is not deleting — for four months
After your paid period ends we keep your database for 120 days: 30 read-only, with your export still available, then 90 in storage. After that it is deleted, following a final email. Download your backup any time before then — you never need to ask us.
7. How to ask
Email info@fiskalaccounting.com from the address on the account. Refunds are returned to the card or account you paid from.
8. How the money comes back
A refund goes back the way it came. If you paid by bank transfer, it is transferred to the same account; if you paid in cash against an invoice, it is returned in cash or by transfer, as you prefer, and you get a receipt for it. Online card payment is being set up; once it exists, a card payment is refunded to the same card. We confirm the refund by email on the day it is made, and it is recorded on your account like any other payment.
9. What a refund does to your data
A refund closes the paid period, it does not delete anything. From the next day the account is read-only for 12 months — you can still sign in, read, print, and download a full backup of your own database — and it is then kept, untouched, for a further 90 days. If you come back inside that time, everything is exactly as you left it; after it, a sealed copy of your books is kept for 5 years and handed back on request. The data is yours throughout; the export needs no request and no approval.
10. Scope
Applies to subscriptions bought directly from Fiskal Accounting. Effective 6 September 2026.
11. What is not covered
Charges made through a reseller or a referral partner are refunded by the same rules but handled through that partner, so write to us and to them. Work done for you by hand — moving opening balances from an old system, or training — is agreed separately and in writing before it starts, and that agreement says what happens if it stops early; this policy is about the subscription only.
